number of incorrect PIN code attempts. The
display shows how many attempts you have
left with "Remain: #", where # is the number
of attempts left.
When no attempts remain, you need the PUK
code (Personal Unblocking Key) supplied with
your SIM card to unlock the card and supply a
new PIN code.
