Playback mode:

Press the selection buttons (M6) to select the previous or next title.
Pressing and holding either of the buttons will "fast-forward" or
"rewind" the track at ten times of the normal speed. (Fig. A4)
Press the volume buttons (M14) to adjust the playback volume.
[When the unit is switched on, the default volume setting is
approx. 50%]

Select mode:

Press the "MODE" (M9) button to select the repeat mode:
When "VOC" appears on the display, only titles saved in ADPCM
format are played. A signal can be recorded in this format in
recording mode via the VOC socket (M5) (3.5 mm jack).
If <MP3> appears on the display, only titles saved in MP3 format
are played. A signal can also be recorded in this format in recording
mode via the MP3 socket (M4) (3.5 mm jack).
Fig. A2: 01 00:04 indicates the overall duration of the first title (4
seconds) in <VOC> playback mode.
Fig. A3: 01 03:06 indicates the overall duration of the first title (3
minutes and 6 seconds) in <MP3> playback mode.
Press the selection buttons (M6) to select the previous or next title.
Press the Play button (M7) to start playback.

Pause mode:

Press the Play button (M7) to interrupt the title currently playing.
Press the button again to resume playback at the same position in
the title. (Fig. A5)
The Stop button (M10) stops playback and switches the unit to stop
mode.
Repeat function:
Briefly press the repeat button (M11) to activate the repeat
function:
No repeat => the repeat function is inactive (Fig. B1)
Repeat 1 => the current title is repeated continuously (Fig. B2)
Repeat all => all titles are repeated in playback sequence (Fig. B3)

Equaliser:
Press and hold (2 seconds) the repeat button (M11) to activate the
equaliser.
Now press the button repeatedly to switch between Normal, Pop,
Classic, Rock and Jazz (Figs. B4, B5, B6, B7 and B8).
Press the Stop button (M10) to return to the default setting in stop
mode.

Mute function:
Briefly press the POWER/MUTE button (M8) to mute playback. (Fig.

Recording mode:
1.) Briefly press the record button (M13) to activate VOC mode;
the recording is made in ADPCM format. (Source: recording via VOC
signal input (M5))
Press the record button (M13) for longer (3 seconds) to activate
MP3 mode; the recording is made in MP3 format. The source for this
recording is both the MP3 signal input (M4) and the playback signal
from your EasyPort® speaker.
2.) Press the MODE A>B button several times to select the quality:
For VOC:
(1) HI VOC => high quality level
(2) LO VOC => low quality level
For MP3:
128 Kbps => highest quality level (Fig. D1)
Playtime 68 minutes at 64 MB
80 Kbps => medium quality level (Fig. D2)
Playtime 108 minutes at 64 MB
30 Kbps => lowest quality level (Fig. D3)
Playtime 272 minutes at 64 MB
