Processor circuit board, cash box
After opening of the coin validator door, the
processor circuit board with the DIP switches
and fuses is accessible.
The cash box can be protected against unau-
thorized access by means of an additional pad-
lock.
Removal of the goal unit with lock
The goal unit is opened by means of the associ-
ated key.
The microswitch and puck retainer are then ac-
cessible.
Radial fan
From time to time, the dust fi lter of the radial
fan should be cleaned or replaced.
An insuffi cient air cushion impairs the playing
pleasure.
The fan is located at the middle of the table and
is accessible by way of the coin validator door.
Care of the playing surface
The AIR HOCKEY TYPHOON playing surface
should be thoroughly cleaned at least once
daily.
The attractiveness of the game table is thus
maintained.
For cleaning the stainless steel playing surface,
the cleaning agent specifi ed on page 37,
catalogue number 7000 4379,
or an equivalent, commercially available cleaner,
must be employed. The coated, coloured play-
ing surfaces must be cleaned with commercially
available colourless furniture polish. A mois-
tened polishing cloth should be employed for
cleaning; the fan should always be in operation
during the cleaning process.
A rough surface is present on the housing at the
right and left; rubbing of the puck on this sur-
face eliminates irregularities.
Puck, game mallet
As dictated by the playing frequency, the ring
and felt disc should be replaced on the game
mallet. If the surface of the puck is severely
damaged, it loses its sliding properties. In this
case, the puck should be replaced.
