forward to lift off. The glider settles above the pilot's head allowing plenty of time for dealing
with pre-flight/passenger issues. Even in restricted or not ideal launch situations, RIDE will
inflate and rise up in a positive confidence inspiring manner.
The low lift-off speed helps get the most passive of passengers into the air without stress.
In flight, RIDE sits overhead and feels pressurised and solid irrespective of the wing loading.
Easy brake pressure, an agile feel in the turn and trademark AirDesign comfortable handling
give the pilot a relaxed flight experience while the passenger will (or maybe won't!) notice an
extremely smooth flying experience as the RIDE dampens passenger feedback even in lively
conditions.
Commercial tandem flying is not just about the flying, RIDE stays stable and forgiving while the
pilot is 'hands-free' dealing with filming or passenger management.
Landing is a stress-free experience as the RIDE has a precise flare or can be slowed with the
brakes nearly to zero without stalling.
Design details:
• The leading edge is supported by polyamide rods which ensure a constant inflation and
take-off behaviour over the full life-time of the wing.
• Optically, the leading edge is outstandingly clean which produces a performance advantage
in flight. RIDE is equivalent in performance to high-end LTF/EN B solo gliders.
• RIDE is fitted with trimmers allowing positive or negative trim options. With trimmers open
for light loading or closed when flying with more statuesque passengers, RIDE will deliver
consistent, comfortable flying characteristics throughout the entire weight range.
• The line design utilises a combination of sheathed Dyneema and Aramid to maximise
stability and durability throughout the life of the wing. The upper cascade is designed with
many line attachment points to ensure a long life with constant flying characteristics and
performance. Nevertheless, the total line consumption is relatively low for a tandem glider,
which benefits performance.
• Spreader bars with dual hang points.
• Split A risers for easy big-ears.
Pilot impressions:

I was really impressed with the flight characteristics over the whole weight range;
RIDE feels the same light or heavy loaded!

Some wings I tried felt really slow when lightly loaded. The RIDE feels like it is flying,
not floating even with a very light passenger.
