b) Mode 2

Mode 2 is a charging programme for 24 v batteries in a cold environment or a charging programme specifically for
24 v AGM batteries.

Press the MODE button (2) repeatedly until the LED 24 v with the snowflake symbol (4) is illuminated.
The displays at the charger are the same as in charging programme mode 1.

c) Mode 3

Mode 3 is a special charging programme to reactivate totally discharged 24 v batteries.

Press the MODE button (2) repeatedly until the LED BOOST 24 v (5) is illuminated.
Depending on the charging status of the battery, reactivation is no longer than two hours. The LED BOOST 24 v (5)
flashes during this time.
When reactivation is complete, the charger switches to mode 1 and continues to charge the battery as described
above.
In Mode 3, the battery must never be connected to the vehicle electronics during charging. Before
using this charging programme, the battery to be recharged must first be disconnected from the
vehicle electronics. Otherwise, there is the risk of the vehicle electronics being damaged.
when using charging programme mode 3 for batteries with liquid electrolytes, check the condi-
tion of the electrolyte after charging since the high charging voltage in this charging programme
can cause outgassing and therefore a loss of liquid.

d) Mode 4

Mode 4 is a normal charging programme for 12 v batteries.

Press the MODE button (2) repeatedly until the LED 12 v (6) is illuminated.
During charging, the LED 12 v (6) is illuminated and the charging status is shown in the charging progress display
(12). The individual LEDs for the respective charging status are illuminated subsequently.
When the FULL display is illuminated, the charger switches to conversion charging.
