Listening to the DAB tuner

Before operating, connect the JVC DAB tuner, KT-DB1000 (separately purchased) to the CD changer jack on the rear
of the unit.
Preparation: Make sure "Changer" is selected for the external input setting, see page 34.
1 Select "DAB."

Select the bands.

Searching for an ensemble.
Manual Search: Hold either one of the buttons until "M" flashes on the display, then press
it repeatedly.
4 Select a service (either primary or secondary) to listen to.
When surrounding sounds are
noisy
Some services provide Dynamic Range Control (DRC)
signals together with their regular programme signals.
DRC will reinforce the low level sounds to improve your
listening.

Select one of the DRC signals levels (1, 2, or
3).

stronger.
