Replacing batteries

If an empty battery is displayed via the app or the device
(see „8.3 Error codes and flashing sequences" on page
44), replace the used batteries by two new LR6/mi-
gnon/AA batteries. You must observe the correct battery
polarity.
To replace the batteries of the passage sensor, please
proceed as follows:
• Slightly press the catch on the side of the device
and remove the electronic unit (A) from the cover
(E) to open the battery compartment cover (C)
(see fig. 3).
• Remove the empty batteries from the battery
compartment (C).
• Insert two new LR6/mignon/AA batteries in the
battery compartment, observing the polarity
shown (see fig. 6).
• Reattach the cover.
• Please pay attention to the flashing signals of the
device LED while inserting the batteries (see „8.3 Er-
ror codes and flashing sequences" on page 44).
Once the batteries have been inserted, the passage sen-
sor will perform a self-test/restart (approx. 2 seconds).
Afterwards, initialisation is carried out. The test display
(D) will indicate that initialisation is complete: orange and
green lighting.
