Preparation

With the application of four ultrasound sen-
sors, the reverse drive space is almost
completely monitored. The sensors must
be installed evenly across the width of the
vehicle.
The illustration shows the sensor range in
two perspectives.

Installation

In order to install the sensors, you need a drill in order to drill the necessary holes into the bumper.
Prior to drilling, carefully mark the position of the holes.
Make sure that the sensor angle is not
obstructed by vehicle parts. This would
lead to malfunctioning.
The ultrasound sensors must beinstall-
edevenly across the width of the vehicle.
The distance between the sensors may
not exceed 30 to 40 cm.
The installation height should be in a
range from 50 to 80 cm.
Drilling fastening holes
Observe the safety notices
when drilling. Make sure that
you do not damage any lines
or cables in the drilling area.
