The unidirectional communication is specified as follows:
· Transmission rate within 6 ... 25sec (variable, depending on
telegram length)
· Radio telegram ever contains actual consumption values
· Transmission frequency: 868MHz or 434MHz
· Various Hydrometer receivers are available for receiving the
telegram
(e.g. Bluetooth, GPRS, LAN, ...)
· Telegram encrypted and according to "OPEN-METERING" or
"HYD"-Standard
· Reading modes: WALK-BY, DRIVE-BY, FIXED NETWORK
6.2.3 Communication module RS-485
The communication module RS-485 is a serial interface for data
transmission with external devices, e.g. PC; only 2400 baud. The
module contains a 4-pole terminal strip with terminals marked
D+, D-, Vcc and GND.
An external supply of 12Vdc ±5V (<5W) is needed for module.
6.2.4 Communication module RS-232
The communication module RS-232 is a serial interface for data
transmission with external devices, e.g. PC; 300 or 2400 baud are
possible.
The module contains a 3-pole terminal strip with terminals mar-
ked 62 (TX), 63 (RX) and 64 (GND).
