2. INSTALLATION OF CALCULATOR
Depending on the design application (heating, heating/cooling or
cooling), the calculator is connected to the flow sensor which is
installed in either the hot or cold line of the system as indicated
on the type plate. Make sure the meter is installed sufficiently
far away from possible sources of electromagnetic interference
(switches, electric motors, converters, fluorescent lamps, etc.). The
installed calculator must not be connected to the ground earth of
the building.
For medium temperatures of 90 °C or more or if T
(cooling, heating/cooling application), the calculator must be re-
moved from the flow sensor and installed a sufficient distance
away from heat sources. A wall holder (supplied with meter) or
a spacer holder (optional) is available for this purpose. The meter
should be installed in a convenient position for service and opera-
ting personnel. An initial operation after installation must be done
and documented.
