3. INSTALLATION OF TEMPERATURE SENSORS

Handle the temperature sensors carefully! Remove wire bridges in
case of using 4-wire temperature sensors. The sensor cables are
usually fitted with coloured type labels.

Red: sensor in hot line, Blue: sensor in cold line.
The programmed installation location is documented in info-loop.
The free temperature sensor can be installed in a ball valve or in a
pocket. When pockets used these must be examined for confor-
mity for this sensor.
If the sensor is installed in a pocket, it must be inserted as far
as the bottom of the pocket and secured. A coupling set with
5-piece in separate bag is enclosed for installation in a ball valve.
Make sure the sensor is mounted symmetrically. A shorten or
extension of the sensor cable is not permissible. The cable length
is limited by 10m. It is preferred to install the sensor immersed
directly.
