Subwoofer duplexer
Apart from being used in its full range mode, the power amplifier can be used as a
pure subwoofer amplifier for the bass range.
For this, the inbuilt active duplexer is activated. It can be switched to channel sepa-
ration. The cut-off frequency can be adjusted for each channel.
Activate the subwoofer duplexer with the
SUBWOOF CH-1 or SUBWOOF CH-2
switch (15).
Set the required cut-off frequency with
the controls FREQUENCY (10).
LOW CUT filter
The LOW CUT filter protects the power amplifier and the loudspeakers against low
frequency noise and humming by cutting out frequencies below the set cut-off fre-
quency.
It can be switched on and off. The cut-off frequency is switchable.
The LOW CUT filter is switched on or off
using the DIP switches 1 and 4 (7).
The cutoff frequencies are set using the
DIP switches 2 and 3 (7).

In the NORMAL position, the entire fre-
quency range is given; in the SUBWOOF
position, only the bass range below the
cut-off frequency that has been set with
the FREQUENCY controls (10).
The cut-off frequency can be set conti-
nuously within a range of 40–250 Hz.
When setting, pay attention to the fre-
quency data given by the subwoofer
manufacturer.
DIP switch 1 below > LOW CUT filter for
channel 2 activated.
DIP switch 4 below > LOW CUT filter for
channel 1 activated.
DIP switch 2 above > cut-off frequency
for channel 2 is 50 Hz.
DIP switch 2 below > cut-off frequency
for channel 2 is 30 Hz.
DIP switch 3 above > cut-off frequency
for channel 1 is 50 Hz.
DIP switch 3 below > cut-off frequency
for channel 1 is 30 Hz.
Stereo mode
In this mode, the power amplifier functions with two independent channels.
Each channel has its own input (8 or 9), volume control (5 or 6), LED indicators (4),
limiter (2 or 3) protective circuit, final stage branch and also its own loudspeaker out-
put (13 or 14).
Set the AMP MODE (11) switch to the
"STEREO" position.
Connect the outputs of your audio sour-
ce (mixing desk, equalizer etc) to the
corresponding input terminals on the
power amplifier.
Connect the left loudspeaker to the
loudspeaker output terminals CH-1
OUTPUT (13).
Connect the left loudspeaker to the
loudspeaker output terminals CH-2
OUTPUT (13).
Connect the left channel to the XLR (9)
or jack input socket (8) CH 1.
Connect the right channel to the XLR (9)
or jack input socket (8) CH 2.
Connect the positive pole of the left
loudspeaker to the red loudspeaker out-
put terminal and the negative pole of the
left loudspeaker to the black loudspea-
ker output terminal.
When using the SPEAKER connections,
connect the SPEAKER cable of the left
loudspeaker to the CH-1 OUTPUT
SPEAKER jack (14).
Connect the positive pole of the right
loudspeaker to the red loudspeaker out-
put terminal and the negative pole of the
right loudspeaker to the black loudspea-
ker output terminal.
When using the SPEAKER connections,
connect the SPEAKER cable of the right
loudspeaker to the CH-2 OUTPUT
SPEAKER jack (14).
