Put the CROSSOVER (11) switch into
the position that corresponds with your
configuration.
Activate or deactivate the limiters, the
subwoofer duplexers and the LOW CUT
filters using the appropriate switches.
Set the GROUND LIFT switch (16) to the
grounding symbol.
Switch on your audio source (mixer,
active duplexer, equalizer etc.) and the
connected devices.
Turn on the amplifier with the POWER
mains switch (1).
Adjust the volume of the audio source to
approx. 75% of the maximum volume or
to the maximum undistorted level (visi-
ble on devices with recording level indi-
cators at the "0 dB" marking).
Now adjust the volume to the desired
maximum level using the CHANNEL 1
(5) and CHANNEL 2 (6) volume controls.
Having made this setting, all further
adjustments are only made with the
volume control on the audio source.

STEREO: Stereo mode
BRIDGE: Mono-bridge mode
Settings, see previous chapter.
In this position, the earth of the power
amplifier is connected to the earthing of
the housing.
The volume control of the audio source
is in the minimum position.
Set switch to the "ON" or "I" position.
After a short switch-on delay, the device
switches on.
This setting gives a highest possible sig-
nal-to-noise ratio and enables the best
audio quality.
Please keep in mind that the maximum
volume depends on the power capacity
of the loudspeakers and amplifier.
Excessive volume can damage the loud-
speakers and amplifier.
Overloading can easily be heard from
the distortion that occurs.
The setting up procedure should be
repeated for every re-wiring.

Initial operation

To ensure correct start-up, please read the entire operating
instructions and the safety instructions carefully before using the
device.
Before connecting the amplifier, turn it and all other devices
connected to it off and disconnect them from the mains power
supply.
Proceed in the same way when changing the wiring.
Installing / setting up
The amplifier can either be set-up on a flat surface or installed into a rack system.
To install into a rack, screw the amplifier onto the rack rail using the mounting holes
on the front plate. Additionally, the amplifier must be fixed to the rack using the
mounting holes on the rear side. Due to its heavy weight, you should always install
the amplifier at the lowest level in the rack.
Take care not to place the amplifier in direct sunlight and protect it
from vibration, dust, heat, cold and moisture. Keep the amplifier away
from strong transformers or motors.
The air intake holes on the front-plate and the ventilation openings
on the rear side should never be covered up. If installed in a rack
system, always remove the two rack covers before operation.
Always operate the amplifier on a steady surface that is not heat
sensitive and stand it in an horizontal position, otherwise air can-
not circulating around it properly.
Non-compliance with these instructions could lead to the device
becoming damaged.
The amplifier is heavy, so make sure that it is well mounted or on
a stabile surface to avoid serious accidents.
Connection
This amplifier is equipped with symmetrical inputs with XLR and 6.3 mm mono jack
sockets that also accept unsymmetrical signals.
For connecting the loudspeakers, the amplifier is equipped with SPEAKER loud-
speaker connections and loudspeaker terminal connections.
Although the type of connections used does not affect the function, make sure that
always only one type of connection is used.
