For input connections only use the appropriate shielded XLR or
jack cables. Using other cables may lead to malfunctioning.
To avoid distortion or faulty fittings, which could damage the devi-
ce, always use cables from sources with the same input and out-
put ends (always XLR inputs to XLR outputs or jack inputs to jack
outputs).
The wiring to the loudspeakers must be two-core. Insulate bare
wires at the connecting terminals. Make sure that there are no
sharp edges which could damage the cables.
Only use loudspeakers which have a sufficiently high loading
capacity (see "Technical data").
Connect the loudspeakers directly to the amplifier.
Do not use headphone adapters or distributor speakers. If you are
unsure about anything please contact a specialist.
Make sure that the loudspeakers have been connected with the
correct polarity, i.e. positive and negative signs match.
The amplifier has been designed for a operation with loudspeaker
impedances of at least 2 Ohms (stereo mode) or 4 Ohms (mono-
bridge mode). Never connect loudspeakers with a lower impedance.
Also refer to the connection values in the "Technical data".

Limiter
The power amplifier has limiters with channel separation which can be individually
switched and protect the power amplifier against over amplification.
Should the output signal (the volume) be too high, the limiters reduce the level so far
as to prevent over amplification.
The limiter for channel 1 is switched on
and off with the LIMIT 1 (2) switch.
The limiter for channel 2 is switched on
and off with the LIMIT 2 (3) switch.

Mains connection

Before connecting the amplifier to the mains power supply, make sure
that the POWER mains switch (1) is switched off and that the volume
control (5 and 6) is turned to its minimum (completely to the left).
Connect the power cable with groun-
ding contact (17) to the mains socket
with grounding contact.
The POWER mains switch (1) is used to
switch the amplifier on and off.
Operation
Having made all the necessary cable connections and rechecking them, only then
can the amplifier be put into operation for the first time.
Turn the CHANNEL 1 (5) and CHANNEL
2 (6) volume controls to minimum (com-
pletely to the left).
Switch in OFF position > limiter is off.
Switch in ON position > limiter is on.
Switch in OFF position > limiter is off.
Switch in ON position > limiter is on.
In the "ON" or "I" position, the device is
switched on; in the "OFF" or "0" position
it is switched off.
The "ACTIVE" LEDs (4) are lit when the
device is on.
The device is still switched off.
