Positioning the sensors
Use in filter container with Magnet Holder 3155.500
and 3155.600 (5)
Always place the Osmolator in the last filter chamber
along with the recirculation pump in case of aquarium
cabinets with several chambers or submerged
aquarium chamber filters. We recommend the use
of the big Magnet Holder 3155.600 to attach the
safety sensor (with cable pointing down) (6), and
the Magnet Holder 3155.500 to fix the operating
sensor (with the cable pointing upwards) (7). Select
an accessible point; do not place next to the water
inlet or pump outlet in the cabinet filter. Position the
safety sensor high enough above the maximum
water level so that stopping the recirculation pump
does not cause an overflow alarm !
Recommendation for use in saltwater
In order to avoid a calcification of the operating
sensor, it should be placed approx. 30 cm (11.8 in.)
away from the kalkwasser inlet (calcium hydroxide
with water). In aquarium cabinets, the kalkwasser
inlet should lead into the aquarium only (not into
the filter container) in order to prevent premature
mineral deposition of the operating sensor.

Lors d'une intégration en cuves de filtration ou bac
à décantation à plusieurs compartiments, placez
toujours l'Osmolator dans le dernier compartiment
comportant la pompe de reprise vers l'aquarium. Nous
conseillons de placer le capteur de sécurité (sortie de
câble vers le bas) sur Magnet Holder 3155.600 (6) et
le capteur de régulation (sortie de câble vers le haut)
sur Magnet Holder 3155.500 (7). Assurez-vous de la
position optimale des capteurs par différents essais,
évitez le placement à proximité d'une descente d'eau
ou d'une sortie de pompe ! Placez le capteur de
sécurité au-dessus du niveau d'eau et suffisamment
haut pour qu'un arrêt de la pompe de reprise n'entraîne
pas systématiquement une alarme !
Conseils pour l'eau de mer :
Afin d'éviter une calcification prématurée du
capteur de régulation, il est nécessaire d'éloigner
l'apport de Kalkwasser d'au moins 30cm. En cas
d'utilisation d'une filtration sous aquarium, l'apport
de Kalkwasser doit toujours se faire directement
dans l'aquarium.
