6 Replacing the 0721.1 with 0721.2, .3 or .4
There are different ways for connecting the control inputs. For an optimum selection all needed
control-functions have to be considered. There are now new combinations available which were not
possible before. There are also combinations which are not possible, e.g. the prescaler output together
with the keylock input. If the buttons have to be locked this has to be done via the software. The
keylock-input is only needed if the keylock has to be controlled from the outside.
The switch-settings are replaced by the function codes, which have to be programmed correspondingly
(see chapter 5.3 and chapter 6.3)
The potentiometer settings are replaced by setting the function codes F7 and F8 to bistabil and mono-
stabil (see chapter 5.3) and if needed, the programming of the signal times (see chapter 4.3).
The handling of the counter by the operator of the machine doesn't change.
