7. Other functions

7.1. Key lock

• Slide the key lock switch L L OCK downwards to lock all the keys. A key symbol
appears in the display.
• Slide the key lock switch L L OCK upwards to release the lock. The key symbol
disappears.

7.2. Display lighting

The display lighting is switched on for about 5 seconds every time a key is pressed.
NOTE: Depending on the operating mode set, pressing a key may also activate
other functions.

7.3. Toggle display

• Press the D D ISPLAY button to toggle between frequency and time display while the
radio is switched on.

7.4. Reset

You can use the Reset function to restore the factory settings.
1. Open the battery compartment and remove the batteries.
2. Use a pencil or similar object to press the R R ESET button in the base of the
compartment.
3. Insert the batteries again and close the battery compartment.

8. Cleaning

CAUTION! Before cleaning the radio, make sure the mains adapter is not plugged
into the wall socket.
• Always clean the radio with a slightly moistened cloth only. Do not use
aggressive or abrasive cleaning products.
