6. Clock functions

6.1. Setting the time

When the radio is switched off, the display shows the time. When the radio is
switched on, you can use the D D ISPLAY button to switch between frequency and time
display.
1. Switch the radio off with the P P OWER button.
2. Press C C LOCK MEMORY. The time displayed starts flashing.
3. Use the H H OUR + button to set the hours and the M M IN - button to set the
minutes. Press the button briefly to move the time on by one hour or one
minute; or hold it down until the desired time is reached.
The function is cancelled if several seconds elapse without any entry being
made.
4. Press C C LOCK MEMORY again to store the time.

6.2. Setting alarm with alarm tone

1. Switch the radio off with the P P OWER button.
2. Press 1 1 /AL SET. An alarm symbol appears on the display and the figures start
flashing.
3. Use the HOUR + button to set the hour and the MIN - button to set the minutes.
Press the button briefly to move the time on by one hour or one minute; or hold
it down until the desired time is reached.
After about 4 seconds the figures stop flashing. The alarm time is set and the
alarm symbol appears.
An alarm tone sounds at the set time. After about 1 minute it stops automatically.
4. Press the P P OWER button to stop the alarm tone and switch on the radio.
NOTE:
The alarm time remains stored, so that you will be woken at the same time the next
day. If the radio is switched off, press 1 1 /AL SET to switch off the alarm function.
