PROGRAM TYPE SEARCH
You can search for FM broadcasts of a desired program type (PTY).

1. Turn the STANDBY/ON switch ON.
2. Select a FM station with the BAND button, or with
the CLASS button and STATION CALL button.
3. Press the CHARACTER/SEARCH button to
indicate "SEARCH" in the display.
When selecting a station with Preset Station Tuning, if you press
this button once, "INPUT" is displayed. If you press it twice,
"SEARCH" is displayed.
4. Select the desired program type using the
TUNING knob.
5. When your desired program type is displayed,
press the MEMORY button.
Search begins.
Search through preset stations while station number and fre-
quency indications are displayed. When a station transmitting
the desired program type is found, it is received for 5 seconds
while display indications flash.
6. To listen to a broadcast received when
performing search, press the MEMORY button
during reception of that program.
If you do not press the MEMORY button during this time, search
continues. When search has been completed, "FINISH" lights
in the display, and reception of the program you were listening
to before you performed search resumes.
NOTES:
¶ If search does not find a station broadcasting the desired program
type, "NO PTY" lights in the display, search ends, and reception
of the program you were listening to before you performed search
resumes.
¶ To enjoy this function, you must first preset RDS broadcast sta-
tions in this tuner.

RECHERCHE DE TYPE DE PROGRAMME

Vous pouvez rechercher les émissions FM d'un type de programme
désiré (PTY).

2. Sélectionner une station FM avec la touche de
gamme (BAND), ou avec la touche de classe
(CLASS) et la touche STATION CALL.
3. Appuyer sur la touche CHARACTER/SEARCH
pour que "SEARCH" apparaisse sur l'affichage.
Lors de la sélection d'une station avec la syntonisation de sta-
tion préréglée, si on appuie une fois sur cette touche, "INPUT"
est affiché. Si on appuie deux fois, "SEARCH" est affiché.
4. Sélectionner le type de programme désiré avec
le bouton TUNING.
5. Quand le type de programme désiré est affiché,
appuyer sur la touche MEMORY.
La recherche commence.
La recherche est réalisée parmi les stations préréglées pen-
dant que le numéro de station et la fréquence sont affichés.
Quand une station transmettant le type de programme désiré
est trouvée, elle est reçue pendant 5 secondes pendant que les
indications affichées clignotent.
6. Pour écouter une émission reçue pendant la
recherche, appuyer sur la touche MEMORY
pendant la réception de ce programme.
Si la touche MEMORY n'est pas enfoncée pendant cette période,
la recherche reprend. Quand la recherche est terminée, "FIN-
ISH" s'allume sur l'affichage et la réception du programme écouté
avant la recherche reprend.
REMARQUES:
¶ Si la recherche ne trouve pas de station diffusant le type de
programme désiré, "NO PTY" s'allume sur l'affichage, la recher-
che s'arrête et la réception du programme écouté avant la recher-
che reprend.
¶ Pour pouvoir utiliser cette fonction, il faut d'abord prérégler les
stations RDS dans ce tuner.
