Positioning the speakers

The diagram above shows the basic positioning of each speaker.
Front speakers SB-LV500
Position these speakers on either side of the TV facing toward the
listening position.
The sound reproduced by a speaker system is easily influenced by
such factors as room acoustics and the system's location in the
room. Before finally deciding where the speakers are to be placed,
please read the following information carefully.
The bass sound will be increased if the speakers are placed on
●
the floor or close to a wall due to the reflection of sound. It is
therefore possible to adjust the bass sound to some extent by
adjusting the speaker's distance from the wall and floor.
Undesirable resonance occurs if the speakers face a hard wall or
●
window. Curtains or similar materials can be used to prevent
these reflections.
To prevent possible acoustic feedback, the speaker systems
●
should be kept away from the turntable. This feedback (howling)
can result from vibrations from the speakers. The turntable
should, therefore never be placed on the same surface as the
speaker system. A thick piece of felt or similar material can be
used under the turntable to reduce this problem. Closing the
turntable's cover also reduces this problem.
Center speaker SB-C500
Set either on top or underneath the TV.
Surround speakers
Attach the speaker to the wall at a position which is at ear level and
slightly behind the listening point.
If the speaker cannot be attached to the wall, it can alternatively be
placed on top of a shelf or on the floor.

Note
To enjoy natural sound effects, ensure that the speakers are
connected to their respective terminals. The speakers are marked
on the rear so that it is easy to identify the left and right side and the
direction they should be faced.

Coloque estos altavoces a cada lado del televisor mirando hacia la
posición de escucha.
El sonido reproducido por un sistema de altavoces es fácilmente
influenciado por factores tales como la acústica de la habitación y la
ubicación del sistema en ella. Antes de decidir finalmente dónde
serán ubicados los altavoces, tenga la bondad de leer
cuidadosamente la siguiente información.
El sonido de graves se incrementará si los altavoces son
●
ubicados en el piso o cerca a una pared debido a la reflexión del
sonido. Por lo tanto es posible ajustar el sonido de los graves en
cierta medida regulando la distancia del altavoz desde la pared y
desde el piso.
Resonancia no deseada ocurre si los altavoces miran a una pared
●
dura o una ventana. Se puede usar cortinas o materiales
similares para prevenir estas reflexiones.
Para prevenir un posible regreso acústico, los sistemas de
●
altavoces deberán ser mantenidos lejos del tocadiscos. Este
regreso (silbido) puede resultar de vibraciones que vienen de los
altavoces. Por ésto, el tocadiscos nunca deberá ser ubicado en la
misma superficie que el sistema de altavoces. Un pedazo de
paño grueso o material similar puede ser usado bajo el tocadiscos
para reducir este problema. Cerrando la cubierta del tocadiscos
también reduce este problema.

Colóquelo ya sea encima o debajo del televisor.
Altavoces surround SB-S500
Adose el altavoz a la pared en una posición que esté al nivel de la
oreja y ligeramente detrás del punto de escucha.
Si el altavoz no puede ser adosado a la pared, puede ser
alternativamente colocado encima de un estante o en el piso.

Nota
Para disfrutar de los efectos de sonido naturales, asegúrese que
los altavoces estén conectados a sus respectivos terminales. Los
altavoces están marcados en la parte posterior de modo que sea
fácil identificar los lados izquierdo y derecho y la dirección en la que
deberán mirar.
