1. Be sure to reduce the volume on the receiver (or amplifier) when
the signal input exceeds the rated allowable input to avoid
damage to circuitry or other malfunctions.
2. Avoid situations such as.
Direct sunlight

Near heating appliances or other sources of heat

High humidity

3. Never use alcohol, paint thinner, benzine or similar chemicals to
clean the unit as they may damage the finish.
4. Do not touch the diaphragms. Doing so may cause distortion.
■ Speaker impedance and allowed input

Caution:
These speakers should only be connected to receivers (or
amplifiers) that have output ratings equal to or less than the above.
You risk blowing either the receiver or your speaker if you use a
stronger receiver. This may result in fire. If equipment is damaged in
any way or unexpected trouble occurs during playback, unplug the
system from its outlet and call a serviceman for assistance.
■ Speaker demagnetizing design
The front speakers and center speaker are designed to be used in
close proximity to TV, but irregular coloring may result due to how
the system is placed. If such distortion occurs, turn off the TV for
sometime between 15 and 30 minutes. The demagnetizing function
of the TV should eliminate the distortion. If irregular coloring is
continues visible, then move the speaker further away from the TV.

Protection circuitry

These units incorporate speaker protection circuitry to protect the
speaker from damage caused by excessive input or abnormal
signals; when excessive input is detected, input is automatically
interrupted.
■ If sound is interrupted or changed...
1. Reduce the volume of the receiver (or amplifier).
2. Check the sound source and connections for any problems.
If there is no problem, the protection circuitry will reset in a few
minutes.
■ After the protection circuit is reset...
Take care not to turn the receiver's volume up too high.

Advertencia:
Estos altavoces deberán ser conectados sólo a receptores (o
amplificadores) que tienen valores nominales de salida iguales o
menores que los de arriba. Ud. se arriesga a hacer volar ya sea el
receptor o su parlante si usa un receptor más potente. Esto puede
resultar en incendio. Si el equipo resulta dañado de cualquier modo
o un problema inesperado ocurre durante la reproducción,
desenchufe el sistema y llame a un agente de servicio para que le
dé asistencia.
■ Diseño de desmagnetizado de altavoces

Los altavoces delanteros y el altavoz central están diseñados para
ser usados muy cerca del televisor, pero una coloración irregular
puede resultar debido a cómo esté colocado el sistema. Si tal
distorsión ocurre, apague el televisor por entre unos 15 y 30
minutos. La función de desmagnetizado del televisor deberá
eliminar la distorsión. Si la coloración irregular sigue siendo visible,
mueva el altavoz más lejos del televisor.
Circuitería de protección
Estos aparatos tienen incorporada una circuitería de protección
para proteger a los parlantes de daños causados por una excesiva
entrada o señales anormales; cuando una entrada excesiva es
detectada, la entrada es autom á ticamente interrumpida.
■ Si el sonido es interrumpido o cambiado...
1. Reduzca el volumen del receptor (o amplificador).
2. Chequee la fuente de sonido y las conexiones por si hay algun
problema.
Si no hay problema, la circuitería de protección se repondrá en
unos pocos minutos.
■ Después que el circuito de protección se ha repuesto...
Cúidese de no elevar demasiado el volumen del receptor.
