Replacement
If the mains cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only be replaced
by Philips or their service representative, as special tools and/or parts
are required.

Solving problems

The suction power is insufficient:
1 Check if the suction power control is in the required position
(see Vacuum Cleaning - Adjusting suction power).
2 Check if the dustbag is full.
3 Check if the nozzle, tube or hose is blocked up.
To remove the obstruction, disconnect the blocked-up item and
connect it (as far is possible) in adverse position.Then the air will
stream through the item in opposite direction.
The infra red remote control does not function:
It is possible the batteries do not make properly contact.

4 Remove the black lid and push the batteries into their place.
The batteries are empty.
5 Replace the batteries with new ones (watch the - and + poles).
Use type LR03 batteries.Alkaline is advised.
