5.1 Emptying the dust container

5 Dust container maintenance
As the compact dust container can only
hold a limited amount of dirt, it is best to empty
it after each vacuuming session.
ATTENTION:
Switch the appliance off before removing
the dust container from the motor unit.
Otherwise, unfiltered dirt could be sucked in
and damage the motor.
1. Hold the handheld with the suction head
pointing downwards so that no dust can
fall out when taking off the dust container.
2. Hold both the dust container and the
motor unit firmly with one hand.
3. Then push the release button "
separate the dust container from the
motor unit.
4. Hold the dust container low over a dustbin.
5. Take out the 3-part filter unit (Fig. 6/a) and
pour the dirt into the dustbin (Fig. 6/b).

6. Carefully tap out the remaining dust.
7. Also clean the dust container ( Chapter
5.2, "Cleaning the dust container") and the
filter elements ( Chapter 6, "Cleaning the
filter elements") on this occasion.

the dust container, always make sure that
