2.5 Re: Power supply

The appliance is charged and operated with
electricity, so there is a principle risk of electric
shock. So please especially observe the
following:
Never touch the AC adapter with wet
hands.
If you want to pull the power unit out of the
socket, always pull directly on the plug. Never
pull the AC adapter's power cord.
Do not use the power cord to carry the AC
adapter or the charging station.
Take care that the AC adapter's power
cord is not bent, pinched, rolled over or gets in
contact with heat sources.
Never immerse the appliance, charging
station or the AC adapter in water or other
fluids and keep it away from rain and
moisture.
Only charge the appliance if the voltage
indicated on the AC adapter matches the
voltage of your socket.
Always check the AC adapter's power
cable for possible damages before using it.
2.6 Re: Certain groups of persons
This appliance is not intended to be used
by persons (including children) with impaired
physical, sensorial or mental abilities and/or
insufficient experience or knowledge, unless
they are supervised by a person responsible
for their safety or have been instructed in the
proper use of the appliance by this person.
Keep the appliance out of reach of people of
these groups.
Children should be supervised in order to
make sure that they don't play with the
appliance.
Packing material must not be used to play
with. There is danger of suffocation.
2.7 Re: Appropriate Use
This appliance may only be used in
households. It is not suitable for industrial or
commercial use.
The battery powered hand-held vacuum
cleaner must be used
vacuuming up small quantities of dust. Any
other use is considered inappropriate and is
prohibited.
It is especially forbidden:
To vacuum-clean:
- hair, fingers and other body parts. Parts
of their bodies could be sucked in and
injured.
- hot ash, burning cigarettes or matches.
This could cause a fire.
- water and other fluids, especially damp
carpet cleaning agents. Moisture inside
the appliance can cause a short-circuit.
- toner (for laser
machines, etc.). There is danger of fire
or explosion.
- pointed objects, such as glass shards,
nails, etc. They can damage the filters
and the appliance.
- rubble, plaster, cement, fine drilling-
dust, makeup, etc. These might damage
the appliance.
To use the appliance near explosive or
easily flammable substances. There is danger
of fire or explosion.
To store or charge the appliance outdoors.
There is danger of rain and dirt destroying the
appliance.
To stick objects into the appliance's
openings. It could overheat.
To modify or repair the appliance or the
charging station on your own.
