OPERATOR ALERTS_______________________________________________________
The electronic controller monitors vital machine systems. It
uses an audible alarm and warning lights to alert the
operator of conditions requiring immediate action. When an
alert occurs fol l ow the general guidelines listed in th e chart
below, and any specific acti o ns outlined by th e grounds
superintendent or service manager.
To test alarm system:
Turn igni t ion switch to RUN . All lights will come on for one
second or more and the alarm will sound briefly.
This system monitors:
T. Battery voltage
U. Engine oil pr e ssure
V. Engine coolant temperature
W. Glow Plugs (Diesel Units)
Alert
T. Battery Voltage - Warning light
comes on.
U. Engine Oil Pressure - a larm
sounds and oil p ressure light comes
on. Oil press ure low.
V. Engine Coolant Temperature
Alarm sounds.
Engine
temperature high. (Diesel Un its
Only)
W. Glow Plug - Glow plug light
comes on. (Diesel Units)

Return unit to a service area as soon as possible. Inspect battery and
battery charging sys tem.
Stop unit immediately, lower implements and shut off engine! Inspect oil
level in engine. If oil light remains on with oil at proper level, shut off engine, and
tow or trailer unit ba c k to a ser v ice area. NEVER operate engine with oil ligh t on,
severe damage to the engine can o ccur.
Stop unit immediately, lower implements and shut off engine! Remove
coolant
debris such as leaves and grass clippings that may be restricting air flow through
rear screen on hood and area between radiator and oil cooler. If engine continues
to run hot, return mower to a se r vice area.
CAUTION: Engine coolant is under pressure. Turn engine off and allow
fluid to cool before checking fluid level or adding coolant to radiator.
System is energizing glow plugs. Hold key in start position, s tarter will engage
when glow plug light turns off.
