5.3. Collecting sump / Perforated sheet covering
The collecting sump at the bottom of the PROTECTO safety cabinet collects
leakage liquids inside the cabinet and isn't an additional storage surface.
A perforated sheet insert as sump cover can be used as additional storage space
for containers, except that the volume of the collecting sump is reduced about 2 %.
The collecting volume of the bottom sump as special shelf you will find in the list
"technical data -> Volume of the collecting sump".

5.5. Quantity stored
The collecting sump has to collect minimum 10 % of the stored (total) volume but
minimum 110% of the biggest stored container; please note labelling on the
cabinet. Please note that in the case that the volume of the biggest container is
higher than the volume of the collecting sump of the relative cabinet, the collecting
sump has to be adapted adequately.

In the bottom sump collected leakage liquids are to be
taken out and disposed properly before removing the
collecting sump. Make sure that after removal of the
collecting sump it is connected to the potential connection
again.
