Manually storing the video recorder
You can use the manual programme search to adjust a video recorder to the LCD TV,
for example.
After connecting the LCD TV with the video recorder using the aerial cable (see
connecting the video recorder, page 36), set your video recorder to the test signal.
Perform a manual channel search with the LCD TV.

Please note that you may only insert or remove the CI
module while the device is in STANDBY mode or if it is
disconnected from the power supply.
The CAM module must be inserted correctly; it cannot
be inserted the wrong way around. The CAM module or
TV can be damaged if you attempt to push in the CAM
module using force.

Connect the TV to the power supply and switch on. Wait a
moment until the card is recognised.

Some CAM modules require additional set-up steps that you
can carry out in the CI Information menu.
Setting
Select picture mode: Standard, Mild, Personal, Dynamic. This
function corresponds to the PMODE button.
The Personal setting lets you set the Contrast, Brightness,
Colour, Tint and Sharpness yourself. The other parameters are
defined.
Increase or decrease contrast (on a scale of 0 – 100).
Increase or decrease brightness (on a scale of 0 – 100).
