The PeakTech
2235 has output via a PE-contact to ensure the highest
level of safety.
When connected to isolation transformer on a power strip will be more
devices, the PE contact ensures that can cause damage in case of failure
of on device, none of the others. Also be assured only through the PE-
contact, that the connected device can be operated as SK-I device, too.
In some measurement applications, it is necessary to interrupt the PE-
contact (with help of adapters).
For example, in measurements with an oscilloscope, which can build up a
potential difference between the mass of the measuring input and
protection earth.
If the PE-contact will be interrupted, it is not allowed to connect more
than one device to the isolation transformer.
