9. General operation

a) LED display (3)
• During operation, the LED display (1) alternatingly indicates voltage and current.
• Pushing the SET button (2) once stops the currently displayed value. When pushing the SET button (2) again, the
display returns to the above mode.
• The display switches off after approx. 5 minutes. To switch it on, push the SET button (2).
• If the output current is less than 1 A, the display (1) shows
• The display may appear in the converter or charge mode and with the output opened.
In charge mode, this means that the rechargeable battery is full.

b) Voltage compensation

The fine output voltage settings can be made at the DC-DC converter. When the consumer or rechargeable battery is
farther away, the voltage recording terminal (S-, S +) can be used to ensure stability of the load voltage.
c) Alarm connection
Before the DC-DC converter switches to undervoltage mode and turns itself off, the
alarm connection issues an undervoltage alarm (F05) with a voltage of 13.5 V/0.25 A.
E.g. an LED, signal encoder or relay for remote alarm output can be connected to
these contacts. The alarm is switched on when a lower voltage than 21 V is pending at
the input and switched off when the voltage increases above 25 V.
