HARDWARE INSTALLATION
Because there are large differences between PC's, we can give you only a general
installation guide for the EX-1123-N. Please refer your computer's reference manual
whenever in doubt.
1. Connect the USB 3.0 cable to the USB micro B-Port at the Hub.
2. Connect the power supply to the DC Connector of the Hub.
3. Now connect the other end from the USB 3.0 cable (A-Plug) to the A-Port at your
PC.

DRIVER INSTALLATION
Windows XP/ Vista/ 7/ 8
After the hardware installation Windows will recognize the device automatically and
install the USB 3.0 connections. For the network port it requires a manual driver installa-
tion. Please insert the Driver CD into your CD-Rom drive (e.g. Drive D:) and select

„Install Driver". After them, select „USB 1000M" and as a last please select now
Power (VBUS)
„USB 3.0 1000M". Follow the installation instructions and complete the installation.

Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USB-Controller" the following

Further you should see at „Ethernet Adapter" the following new entry:

Now click „For Mac OS X 10.6/10.7/10.8/" file to launch the installer. Follow the installa-
tion instructions and complete the installation.
CLEANING
For cleaning please use only a dry fluff less cloth and remove the dirt with gently pres-
sure. In the area of the connectors please make sure that no fibres from the cloth re-
main in the connectors. Attention! Never use a moist or wet cloth for cleaning!

Die EX-1123-N ist mit 3 USB 3.0 Ports für Endgeräte, 1 RJ45 Port und 1 Port für den
Anschluss an den PC ausgestattet. Der RJ45 Port an der EX-1123-N ermöglicht Ihnen,
Ihren Desktop PC oder Ihr Notebook in ein 10/100/1000Mbps Netzwerk einzubinden
oder ein Netzwerkfähiges Endgerät anzuschließen. Er unterstützt alle USB Anschlüsse
von 1.1 bis 3.0. Über die externe Stromversorgung per Netzteil können an jedem Port
900mA zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Der serielle USB 3.0 Bus wird optimal durch die
Leistung des schnellen VIA Chipset unterstützt. Die EX-1123-N gewährleistet so eine
sichere Datenübertragung und exzellente Performance von bis zu 5Gbit pro Sekunde!
Der RJ45 Anschluss wird durch einen ASIX Chipset unterstützt. Er unterstützt den Self
Powered und Bus Powered Modus. Es ist nicht möglich die I/O Adressen und Interrupts
manuell einzustellen, da die Einstellungen vom System (BIOS) und beim installieren des
Betriebssystems automatisch vorgenommen werden.
