PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
The turntable is now ready for use and can be connected.

3. How to install the tonearm weight (D) on
the tonearm:
Remove the protective sleeve from the cartridge and
place the tonearm weight (D) onto the thread of the
tonearm and turn it clockwise until the tonearm is
fl oating. Check this by carefully releasing the tonearm
from time to time while turning.
If the tonearm isn't spreading up anymore the fl oating
point has been reached. If the tonearm is spreading
down the weight has been turned too far and should be
turned back counterclockwise a bit.
Hold the tonearm weight and turn the scale ring to
position "0". Take care not to turn the weight while
turning the scale ring.
4. How to adjust the tracking force:
From the fl oating point turn the weight clockwise onto
the thread up to position "2". This results in the correct
tracking force for the Audio Technica AT95 cartridge
(2g tracking weight means 20 mN tracking force).
5. Adjusting the anti-skating weight:
At last, the anti-skating weight should be adjusted to
the same value as the tonearm weight. So, for the
Audio Technica AT95 system turn the anti-skating
adjuster to position "2".
6. Putting-on the felt mat:
The last step is to put the felt mat onto the platter if not
done already.
