Strainer basket

The strainer basket is suitable both for straining fruit or vegetable juice and for steaming
foodstuff.

Steamer unit

The steamer unit consists of a water reservoir without blades, a cooking container and
a steamer adapter:
Water reservoir
The water reservoir is needed for turning water into steam when steaming food. To en-
hance the fl avour of food, e.g. broth can also be used.
Cooking container
The cooking container is placed on the water container. This is perfect for optional use
to steam e.g. potatoes or other vegetables while e.g. meat or fi sh is being steamed in
the steamer adapter.
Steamer adapter
The steamer adapter is placed on the cooking container and is ideal for gently cooking
foods with steam.
You can choose from two possible applications:
1. Use the steamer insert with intermediate panel to cook different foods at the same
time (e.g. meat and vegetables). Make sure that the food with a longer cooking time
is at the bottom and food with a shorter cooking time is at the top.
2. Use the steamer insert without intermediate panel to cook a larger quantity of the
same food.

Measuring cup

The measuring cup is suitable for measuring liquids. If you want to add small amounts of
foodstuff, like spices or similar, during preparation, you can remove the measuring cup
from the lid and add the foodstuff through this opening.
NOTICE: Use the measuring cup to close the opening in the lid when puréeing foods at a
high setting to prevent food from spraying out. However, you should never close the opening
when cooking milk or cream or when cooking at a high temperature to prevent boiling over!

Spatula

The spatula is suitable to scrape out the food container, but can also be used when
straining fruit or vegetable juice to steady the strainer basket and to retain fruit and
vegetable pieces when pouring out. In addition the hook on the spatula is suitable for
removing the strainer insert.

2. Attach the stir insert from the top onto the mounting of the
blade protection, as shown.
