2 Operating the IMPRESSA with the fresh water kit
T Completely dissolve 3 JURA descaling tablets in a receptacle
holding 600 ml of water. This may take several minutes.
T Pour the solution into the empty water tank and insert it into
the machine.
AGENT IN TANK

T Place a receptacle under the hot-water nozzle.
c T Press the Maintenance button.
, water flows straight into the drip tray and
DE-SCALING
out of the hot-water nozzle repeatedly.
The operation is interrupted,
T Empty the receptacle.
T Empty the drip tray and coffee grounds container and put
them back into the machine.
RINSE WATER TANK
T Remove the water tank and rinse it thoroughly.
T Reinsert the empty water tank.
c T Press the Maintenance button.
INSERT KIT
T Insert the fresh water clip in the water tank.
T Place one receptacle under the hot-water nozzle and another
under the coffee spout.
c T Press the Maintenance button.
HEATING
, water flows out of the hot-water nozzle
DE-SCALING
and the coffee spout.
The operation stops automatically,
T Empty the drip tray and coffee grounds container and put
them back into the machine.
Descaling is now complete. The IMPRESSA is once more
ready for use.
E If the descaling operation stops unexpectedly, rinse the water
tank thoroughly.
