Transferring Settings - Fohhn FC-9 Bedienungsanleitung

A window with the title „Fohhn-Net Remote FC-9" will now be
displayed. Eight buttons, which correspond to the 8 inputs of
the FC-9, are pictured.

Click a button to assign a configuration to this input. The window
„configuration for input 1" will appear. The input can be renamed
with the function „edit name".
The „add" function provides you with the ability to assign a new
function to the input, once the contact is closed (close contact).
The FC-9 is capable of remote controlling other Fohhn-Net devices.
Should the command be directed to a different device, choose the
ID of it in the „device" drop-down menue. If the command should
be carried out by the FC-9, choose „FC-9".
Multiple commands can be assigned to each input connector at
all times, e. g. simultaneous switching of the FC-9 and an active
subwoofer.
Commands to switch between presets or volume levels can both be
assigned. For a volume control, two FC-9 input connections and two
pushbuttons (shutters) are needed.
To change presets, both pushbuttons or toggle switches can be
utilized.
The input connection functions are not able to handle multiple
configurations! (Example: close contact once – ON, close contact
again – OFF does not work!)
To achieve this, two pushbuttons on two inputs or a toggle switch
on one input must be used.

If a switch (e. g. door contact) is connected and two states (door
open, door closed) are being detected by the switch, the function
„check state on power up" can be activated (see checkbox on the
bottom of the configuration window of each input contact). If this
checkbox is activated, the FC-9 is checking the state of the switch
and carries out the respective commands while powering up. The
switch can now also be operated if the FC-9's power is switched off.

Summary:
• close contact: these commands are executed when the input
contact is closed.
• open contact: these commands are executed when the input
contact is opened.

7.3 Transferring settings

Once everything is set up, you can transfer the settings to the FC-9.

Go to Menu -> Transfer -> Send configuration to device.
All devices in the Fohhn-Net are listed here after a short time.
Select your FC-9 and press "Continue >>" and then Start. After a few
seconds, all settings will be saved permanently in the FC-9 and you
can use all the functions on the FC-9 completely independently of
your PC.
Notice:
The FC-9 restarts after te transfer itself. Audio signals will be
interrupted, or new presets could be loaded.
