4. Select the FC-9 output channel which is connected to your
amplifier. Check again and make sure that the speakers are not
connected to the amplifier and activate „enable measurement".
To commence with the measurement, press „start".
The measuring will last about 30 seconds.
6. If everything has been carried out in the right order, the
„amplifier setup" displays the data of the new amplifier.
Should this not be the case, review your steps and repeat the
procedure.
Name your new amplifier and press OK. Peak power is specified
in watts at 4 ohms and amplification in dB.
7. The amplifier will now be displayed in the list and can now
be loaded in the Fohhn Audio Soft.
Note: the FC-9 can calibrate both a Speakon 1+/1- configuration
and a 2+/2- configuration.

6. Assembly, installation and preparations
The FC-9 can be mounted in a 19" rack and occupies 1HE.
Connect the FC-9 with the IEC power cable (1).
FC-9 works with Fohhn-Net Remote Control Software version 1.4
or later) only.

6.1 Input switching contacts (11)

The FC-9 has 8 input contacts which are activated by opening both
contacts from one input or connecting them with one another. Push
buttons and switches can be connected to the input contacts.
Push button connected: the button can load a certain preset (closes
contact) or control the volume (increase volume) when pressed.
Switch connected: two different presets can be loaded by actuating
the switch (contact closes / opens).
6.2 Configuring the network address
The default network address of the FC-9 is 1. Make sure that
this address is not assigned to another device or change the
network address of the FC-9 beforehand, especially if you
intend to operate several FC-9s, in which case you should
change the address of the FC-9 before connecting the network
otherwise communication will not be possible.
The network address can be changed in the Fohhn Audio Soft in
"Device List" under "Options.
Pressing the "Change ID" button in the transfer window allows you
to change the network address for the FC-9.
