4 . Take a foot bath following the callus treatment. This will remove any remaining callus resi-
due on the feet and will also prepare the feet optimally for a pedicure treatment.
Removing corns
Attachments required: rounded sapphire attachment
1 . Attach the rounded sapphire attachment to the manicure device and set the desired speed
and direction of rotation using the rotary switch.
2 . Carefully move over the corn with the rounded sapphire attachment.
3 . Take a foot bath following the corn treatment. This will prepare the feet optimally for a pedi-
cure treatment.
Manicure pre-treatment
To achieve optimum results with the manicure, soften your fingers and finger nails for approx.
five minutes in the water bath in the base station prior to the manicure treatment.
Follow the instructions below to start the manicure pre-treatment:
Warning
Never fill the base station water bath directly under the tap. Water could come into contact
with the base station outside of the water bath and lead to electric shocks. Always use a sepa-
rate container to fill the water bath.
1 . Before starting with the manicure pre-treatment, remove all nail varnish from the surfaces of
your nails.
2 . Close the base station cover and disconnect the mains adapter from the socket.
3 . Fill a container (not included in delivery) with warm water. The water should not be so hot
that it is uncomfortable for you.
4 . Pour the warm water from the container into the water bath in the base station, filling up to
the "MAX" mark. Ensure that no drops of water come into contact with the base station. Ho-
wever, should any water come into contact with the base station, wipe it away using a dry
cloth.
5 . Insert the TRS connector into the mains adapter connection on the base station.
6 . Insert the mains adapter into the socket.
7 . Press the water bath On/Off button on the base station. The water
bath starts to bubble.
8 . Gently place your arm on the cover of the base station and dip
your fingers in the water bath. After five minutes the nails are sof-
tened. Press the water bath button again to terminate the manicu-
re pre-treatment.
Shortening nails
Attachments required: large sapphire wheel (coarse), small sapphire wheel (coarse)
Important
If you are working with filing discs, always start the treatment at the lowest intensity setting (I).
