Fault
Green indicator light,
Fig. 2/4, is not lit.
Thicker frost along
the upper edge of
the appliance.
Customer service
Please check your telephone book or the
customer service list for your nearest
customer service facility. When
contacting customer service, please
ALWAYS quote the product number
(E number) and production number
(FD number) of your appliance.
Possible cause
Appliance has been
switched off.
Power failure; the fuse has
been switched off; the
mains plug has not been
inserted properly.
Defrost water stoppers
not fitted correctly.
Transportation protection
devices were not removed.
The chest freezer lid
is opened frequently.
Remedial action
Connect mains plug.
Check whether the power is on, check the
fuses.
Correctly insert defrost water stoppers on
the base of the appliance and on the front
of the appliance.
Remove all four transportation protection
devices, Fig. 3 (see Installing the
appliance).
Do not open lid unnecessarily.
These numbers can be found on the
rating plate. Fig. 0
To prevent unnecessary call outs, please
assist customer service by quoting the
product and production numbers. This
will save you additional costs.
