The favourite mode is switched off when the satellite TV receiver is switched from standby mode.
Contrast/video deviation
The satellites transmit with different video deviations. This causes an associated contrast setting at the
satellite TV receiver.
The correct contrast level has been selected at the factory.

You can choose between 2 contrast levels (»1« and »2«) that have been preprogrammed at the
factory if required or when reprogramming.
– You should not change this preset value, as otherwise the contrast of all channel positions will
also be changed with this contrast setting.
– You can change the values of the contrast levels in the system settings menu in exceptional
cases (see "Presetting the contrast levels 1 and 2" section on page 22).
THE TIMER MENU

The »TIMER« menu has a 24 hour timer for video recordings.
For "running" timer recordings it is not possible to switch the channel position or to fade in menus on
the screen. The timer of the satellite TV receivers should therefore be always programmed for a video
recording (also see page 32, "During a timer recording" section).

Decoder setting

You can select one of the four possible settings for each channel position according to the decoder:

You can set positive (+) or negative (–) video polarity.

The red and green displays light up together at the front of the satellite TV receiver. This means
that the timer of the satellite TV receiver is programmed.
