Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem
Nothing appears on
the display (A).
The fuse in the fuse
box is triggered.
Water runs out of the
device.
The meat is under-
cooked.
Device switches off
before the operating
time has expired.
Although the cook-
ing operation should
already have been
completed, the set
operating time has
not yet expired.

Possible cause
The mains plug is not in-
serted correctly in the socket.
The socket is defective.
No mains voltage is present.
The device has overheated.
The display is defective.
Too many devices connected
to the same circuit.
No error can be identifi ed.
There is too much water in
the water container (1).
The cooking temperature was
set too low.
The cooking time was too
short.
There is no water or the
water level is below the MIN
mark (8) in the water con-
tainer.
Was the current supply inter-
rupted by a a power outage,
for example?
Fix
Insert the mains plug.
Try another
socket.
Check the fuse of the mains
connection.
Wait until it has cooled down,
fi ll the water container (1) with
water and try again.
Contact our customer service
department.
Reduce the number of de-
vices in the circuit.
Contact our customer service
department.
Do not overfi ll the water
container!
Increase the cooking tem-
perature.
Extend the cooking time.
Top up the water container
with suffi cient water.
The device saves its settings
for up to 2 hours, even if it is
separated from the current
supply.
