2.5. Never carry out repairs yourself

• If the plug, power cable or the device is damaged or if liquids
or foreign bodies enter the device, remove the plug immedia-
tely from the socket.
WARNING!
Never try to open and/or repair the device yourself. There
is a risk of electric shock!
• If there is a fault, contact the Medion Service Centre or ano-
ther suitable specialist workshop.

2.6. The CD player

• The CD player is a class 1 laser product. The de-
vice has a safety system that prevents dangerous
laser rays from escaping during normal use.
• To avoid eye injuries, never tamper with or damage the safety
system of the device.

2.7. Information on electrostatic charge

If the device does not work correctly because of electrostatic charge, reset it by dis-
connecting it from the mains for a short period of time.
