Functional description
•
The appliance is manufactured according to protection class 1. Only an approved, earthed
mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz) connected to the public supply grid may be used as a source of
power.
•
Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is risk of a fatal electric shock.
•
If the power line is damaged, do not touch it. First of all cut off the power supply to the relevant
mains socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker) and then pull the mains plug carefully out of the mains
socket. Do not operate the appliance any more. Take it to a specialist workshop.
•
When installing the appliance, make sure that the mains cable is not pinched or damaged by
sharp edges.
•
This appliance is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children cannot esti-
mate the risks which can arise when handling electrical equipment.
•
Never position vessels or containers containing liquids, such as buckets, vases or plants, into
the direct vicinity of the product. Liquids could seep into the interior of the housing and in doing
so impair the electrical safety. Apart from that there is a great risk of a fire or a fatal electric
shock. In such a case, cut off the power supply to the relevant mains socket (e.g. via the circuit
breaker) and pull the mains plug out of the mains socket. Remove all cables from the appliance.
The product may not be operated any longer. Take it to a specialist workshop.

Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures, dripping or spraying water, strong vibration
or heavy mechanical stress.
•
Do not place open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on the appliance.
•
Contact a specialist if you have any doubt about how the appliance operates, its safety or how
to connect it.
•
Never leave the appliance on without supervision.
•
Do not use the appliance in a tropical climate.
•
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may be dangerous for children to
play with.
•
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices that are connected to
this appliance.
•
In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability Insur-
ance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be observed.

Functional description
The 2x15 Mc Crypt graphic equalizer controls can be used to adapt the audio system to the lis-
tening room or to correct for weaknesses in the audio system.
Due to the small distances between the slide controls this appliance may be used to manipulate
sound very subtly, which would not be possible using simple sound controls.
As the appliance is equipped with two separate channels, different settings can be made for the
right and left stereo channels or for two mono channels.
Furthermore, the appliance has a bypass switch and a level control for volume adjustment.
The large analogue level indicators warn if the appliance is being overdriven.
The appliance is connected via 6.3 mm jack sockets, XLR connectors, or cinch sockets, with bal-
anced wiring of the XLR and jack sockets and unbalanced wiring of the cinch sockets.
