for potential technical product recalls we will always
require you to state the serial/batch number together
with the exact item number. The serial/batch number
will allow you to find out the year of manufacture of
your tRide from us. The serial/batch number and
the item number of the tRide can be found on the
barcode label located beneath the seat.
Notes on cleaning, disinfection and care
Subframe
The tRide subframe is manufactured from high quality steel and aluminum tube. It is finished with a durable powder
coating that can be cleaned using household detergent (neutral soap).
Upholstery
All of the upholstery can easily be removed. The 100% PES material and the yarn interlacing are made of high-quality
fabric are washable at up to 40°C. The materials are printed with non-toxic dyes that are free of heavy metals. We draw
your attention to the fact that even high-quality materials may fade as a result of sustained and intensive exposure to solar
radiation or due to frequent washing. The upholstery is fire retardant (BS 5852 part 1).
Velcro fasteners
In order to maintain the functionality of the Velcro fasteners they should be brushed down from time to time. Always
close the Velcro fasteners before washing.
Disinfection
Clean the upholstery and grips before disinfecting. Wipe down all parts of the product with a cloth dampened with
disinfectant. Only water-based disinfecting agents should be used. The manufacturer's instructions for use should be
observed when disinfecting.
Reuse
The tRide is suitable for reuse. However, this rehabilitation product is subject to exceptional stresses.
We have calculated the product's service life – when used properly and in compliance with the service and maintenance
schedule – to be 5 years, on the basis of market observations and the state of the art. Periods during which the product
is in storage at specialist dealerships are excluded.
With corresponding care and maintenance this product will also be reliable in operation for significantly longer
than this period.
Before reuse the product must always be carefully cleaned and disinfected. The condition of the product must be
checked by trained specialist personnel for wear and damage. Any problems with the product must be rectified in order
to ensure that the rehabilitation stroller can continue to be used safely.
If the condition of the rehabilitation stroller is unsuitable for reuse it can be recycled at your local recycling facility.
Guarantee conditions / CE mark
Thomashilfen offers you a guarantee of 3 years for all frame parts, commencing on the date of purchase. This guarantee
incorporates all claims which influence functionality. Damages due to improper use (e.g. overloading), and natural wear
and tear are excluded.
Swifty meets the requirements of the European standards EN 12182 and 12183 and is provided with a CE marking.

A user manual should always be delivered with the product. If the user manual is missing please contact the manufacturer
to request a new user manual. Please make yourself familiar with the product. If you don't know the product and its functions
please read the user manual carefully before inspection. Please clean the product before inspection. Pay attention to all
caring and all product specific instructions mentioned in the user manual.

Servicing and repairs to the rehabilitation stroller may only be carried out by a specialist dealership. The user of this
rehabilitation aid must ensure that the prescribed inspections/maintenance are/is performed regularly and at the correct
intervals. If damage is evident the user is under a duty to actively inform and to have the damage repaired immediately
by specialist personnel. Only original spare parts may be used for repairs (the list of replacement/spare parts can be found
on the download page of our website at www.thomashilfen.de).
The removal and fitting of spare parts may only be carried out by specialist personnel! If it becomes necessary to return
the tRide to your specialist dealership, please ensure that it is properly and securely packed for transportation purposes.
