13. Airless gun 009 - maintenance
ATTENTION
Before starting any maintenance work on the spray gun, please read through all of the warnings in this manual and
relieve the pressure.

Cleaning/replacing the filter (6)

1. Depressurise. Engage trigger lock.
2. Disconnect the fluid hose from the spray gun and swivel joint (5).
3. Release the safety guard (4) from the detent (22)
4. Unscrew the grip (23) from the spray gun.
5. Remove the filter (6) through the top of the grip (23).
6. Clean the filter (6). Loosen and remove severe soiling with a soft brush.
7. Place the clean filter (6) in the grip (23).
8. Attach the grip (23) to the spray gun again and tighten it.
9. Reattach the safety guard (4) on the detent (22).
Repairs
Exchanging needles
Pressure relief:
ATTENTION
1. Relieve the pressure, lock the trigger.
2. Remove the nozzle (36) and nozzle guard (35) from
the spray gun and relieve the pressure.
3. Disconnect the fluid hose from the spray gun and
swivel joint (5).
4. Pull the trigger while the diffuser (15a) is being
unscrewed.
5. Remove the lock nut (9) and end cap (17).
6. Knock the needle out to the front.
7. Clean the gun's internal channels with a soft brush.
8. Lubricate the o-rings on the new needle (15b) using
silicon-free grease.
9. Insert the new needle (15b) into the spray gun from
the front.
10. Loosely attach the end cap (17) and lock nut (9).
11. Lubricate the diffuser (15a)/thread. Place the seal on
the diffuser/seat.
12. Pull the trigger while installing the seal and the dif-
fuser.
