4) Clamp the workpiece in position using the
laser lines to align the blade with the pencil
mark on the workpiece.
NOTE.To cut to the left side of the blade, align
the left-hand laser line with the pencilmark. To
cut to the right side of the blade, align the
righthand laser line with the pencilmark.
5) Plug in the machine and start themotor.
6)When the blade is at itsmaximumspeed
(approximately 2 seconds), lower the blade
through the workpiece.
7) After completing the cut, switch off the laser
light on/off switch (2).
8) After each use, clean the laser light assembly (1)
as described below:
Switch off the laser light switch (2) and then
remove the plug fromthe power point.
With the saw arm (5) in the raised position, use
a soft brush to dust away the sawdust build-up
around the assembly.
NOTE. Wear eye protection while brushing the
dust away.

Maintenance

1) Store the tool, instructionmanual and
accessories in a secure place. In this way you will
always have all the information and parts on
hand.
2) Keep the tool's air vents unclogged and clean
at all times.
3) Remove dust and dirt regularly.Cleaning is best
done with compressed air or a rag.
4) Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts.
5) Lubricate the guide roller fromtime to time
with a drop of oil. It will extend the life of the
roller.
CAUTION. Do not use cleaning agents to clean
the plastic parts of the tool. Amild detergent on
a damp cloth is recommended. Watermust never
come into contact with the tool.
General inspection
Before every operation of the mitre saw, check
and ensure the screw fastening the blade must
be tightened.
Regularly check that all the fixing screws are
tight.Theymay vibrate loose over time.
