WARNING: Hot surface!
Danger of burns!
• The charcoal lighter is intended for outdoor use only! Special
conditions are therefore required for the electrical connection: The
appliance must be fed via a residual current appliance (RCD) with
a rated residual current not exceeding 30 mA.
• Consult a qualified electrician.
CAUTION:
• The base part of the charcoal lighter gets hot! Only use the appli-
ance on a heat resistant surface made of stone, ceramic or metal.
• After igniting, place the charcoal lighter on a heat resistant surface.
Let the appliance cool on it.
• If you place the charcoal lighter in the grill, make sure the grill is
stable enough.
• Do not use any extra chemical fire lighters or accelerators!
• Do not use the charcoal lighter in strong winds.
• Do not add extra oxygen while the appliance is in use! Through
the resulting high temperatures, the appliance could be damaged.
• Do not operate the appliance longer than 20 minutes. Then pull
the mains plug.
• If the charcoal starts to burn before hand, pull the plug from the
socket and empty the coal into the grill.
• The charcoal lighter is not to be used itself as a grill! If you do try
this it can result in accidental damage to people and objects.
• Do not expose the appliance to rain or moisture!
• This appliance is not intended to be used by people (including chil-
dren) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of
experience and / or knowledge.
