1. Wichtige Hinweise!

duktes bzw. dessen Einbau diese Anleitung
komplett und aufmerksam durch.
Das Produkt richtig verwenden
Dieser Decoder ist bestimmt
- zum Einbau in Modelleisenbahnanlagen
gemäß dieser Anleitung
- zum Betrieb an einem zugelassenen Mo-
dellbahntransformator bzw. an einer damit
versorgten Modellbahnsteuerung
- zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt
als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für hieraus
resultierende Schäden haftet der Hersteller
nicht; das Risiko hierfür trägt allein der Be-
nutzer.
Achtung!
Alle Anschluss- und Montagearbei-
ten sind nur bei abgeschalteter
Betriebsspannung durchzuführen!
Die Stromquellen müssen so abge-
sichert sein, dass es im Falle eines
Kurzschlusses nicht zum Kabel-
brand kommen kann. Verwenden
Sie nur nach VDE/EN gefertigte
Modellbahntransformatoren!
2. Einleitung
Der Decoder kann in Märklin- und Trix-C-
Gleis-Dreiwegweichen (2 Elektroantriebe)
eingebaut werden. Die Weiche wird dann im
Digitalsystem ohne zusätzliche Verdrahtung
mit 2 aufeinanderfolgenden von bis zu 2.040
Adressen gesteuert. Mit dem Märklin-Digital-
system sind davon 256 Adressen nutzbar.
Der Dreiwegweichendecoder 5235 versteht
sowohl das Märklin-(Motorola-) als auch das
DCC- (NMRA-) Datenformat und kann somit
von allen dazu kompatiblen Digitalsystemen
angesteuert werden. Zusätzlich lässt sich der
Decoder auf Lokadressen (sowohl Motorola
als auch DCC) programmieren. Dann lässt
sich die Weiche mit eine der Funktionstasten
f1 ... f4 schalten. So ist eine Steuerung auch
mit Märklins "Mobile Station" (Motorola) oder

Purpose
This timer switch is intended
- for installation in model railroad layouts
according to this manual
- for operation with an authorized model rail-
road transformer or a control system
connected to one
- for operation in a dry area
Using the product for any other purpose is
not approved and is considered incorrect.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsi-
ble for any damage resulting from the im-
proper use of this product; liability in such a
case rests with the user.
Attention!
Make sure that the power supply is
switched off when you mount the
device and connect the wires!
The power sources must be
protected to prevent the risk of
burning wires. Only use VDE/EN
tested special model train
transformers for
the power supply!
2. Introduction
The digital decoder can be installed in all C-
track three-way turnouts (Maerklin and Trix)
with two electric mechanisms. The complete
digital turnout can be controlled with no need
of additional wiring by two consecutive ad-
dresses out of 2.040 in the digital system. In
the Maerklin digital system you can use 256
out of these addresses.
The three-way turnout decoder operates with
the Motorola and NMRA DCC data format
and so it can be used with all digital systems
which are compatible to these data formats.
In addition to this the decoder is also pro-
grammable to loco addresses (in DCC as
well as in Maerklin Motorola). Then you can
switch the turnout with one of the function
keys f1 ... f4. So it is possibe to switch the
