The automatic welding filter is scratched on the front
• Do not use the welding filter under these conditions. A complete darkening of the filter is
not guaranteed.
The automatic welding filter appears to be darker in the center and lighter at the edges
• Look as direct as possible through the welding filter and hold it as vertical as possible to the
welding arc.
• Please note: A certain angle dependency is characteristical for all electronic welding filters.
The surface of an electronic welding filter is darker in the center and lighter at the edges.
This is not affecting the functioning and the efficience of the welding filter. It is not a fault.
Welding spatters hit the automatic welding filter and damage it
• Welding spatters can hit the welding filter if the flexibility of the protection lenses degrade.
Welding spatters can also accumulate around the fastening area of the protection lenses.
• Change the protection lenses if their flexibility degrades and clean regularly the fastening areas
of the protection lenses.
• The welding protection helmet is designed to be used with an inner and outer protection lens.
By using the welding protection helmet only with these lenses you reduce the risk of damaging
the electro optical filter by welding spatters. A regular change of the protections lenses will increase
the lifetime of the welding filter.
