Hinweise zum Fahrbetrieb
- Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme die Abschnitte
„Routineprüfungen
vor
dem
„Modellbetrieb" im Abschnitt „Sicherheitshinweise"
beachten.
- Einen nicht zu windigen Tag und ein größeres Gewässer
aussuchen.
- Immer zuerst den Sender einschalten. Fahrakku einle-
gen und anschließen.
- Das Modell in den Bootsständer setzen.
- Eine Funktionsprobe durchführen.

Sie
sich
zunächst
Fahrgeschwindigkeit an die Lenkreaktionen des
Modells.
- Zum Abbremsen Gas herausnehmen.
- Muss der Geradeauslauf am Sender nachgetrimmt wer-
den,
nach
Beendigung
des
Fahrbetriebs
Lenkgestänge entsprechend verstellen. So steht wieder
für beide Seiten der volle Trimmweg zur Verfügung.
- Das Modell ist schnell. Beim Fahren zum Ufer oder in
der Nähe von Hindernissen, zum Beispiel Bojen den
Motor immer rechtzeitig herunterregeln. Nicht in der
Nähe von Schwimmern oder Booten fahren.
Bauanleitung, Assembly instructions, Notice de montage
- Remove the motor, controller and shaft coupling from
the model.
- Install the upgrade motor, and connect it to the shaft
using the upgrade coupling. Check that there is ade-
quate axial play in the shaft system.
- Program the speed controller, check the Centre of
Gravity (balance point) and check all the working sys-
tems in turn.
Operating the model
- Please read the sections in the Safety Notes entitled
Start"

"Routine pre-run checks" and "Operating the model"
before you attempt to run the boat for the first time.
- For initial test-runs please wait for a day with no more
than a gentle breeze, and seek out a large stretch of
calm water.
- Always switch the transmitter on first, then install the
drive battery and connect it.
- Place the model in the boatstand.
- Check the working systems one last time.

- Start by running the boat at no more than moderate
speed, so that you have a chance to familiarize yourself
with its handling characteristics.
- To slow the boat close the throttle.
- If you need to adjust the rudder trim on the transmitter

to make the boat track straight and true, adjust the rud-
der linkage when the boat is back on dry land. You can
then return the trim to centre, so that you have full trim
travel available to both sides of neutral for subsequent
runs.
- This boat is fast. When running it close to the bank, or
in the vicinity of any obstacle such as a buoy, always
reduce the throttle in good time. Never run the boat
anywhere near swimmers or full-size boats.

Recommandations concernant la navigation
- Avant la première sortie, effectuer les „contrôles de
routine avant la mise à l'eau" et tenir compte des con-
signes de sécurité de „mise en œuvre du modèle".
- Choisir un plan d'eau suffisamment étendu et un jour
autant que possible sans vent.
- Mettre tours d'abord l'émetteur en marche. Installer
l'accu dans la coque et le raccorder.
- Installer le modèle dans son berceau.
- Effectuer un essai des fonctions.
- Familiarisez-vous d'abord, à vitesse moyenne, avec les
réactions du modèle à la conduite.
- Pour ralentir, réduire simplement les gaz.
- S'il s'avère nécessaire de corriger la trajectoire rec-
tiligne sur l'émetteur, une fois que le modèle a été
ramené à la berge, ajuster la tringle de direction en con-
séquence. Vous disposerez alors de nouveau de l'inté-
gralité de la course des dispositifs de réglage de préci-
sion (trims) pour la séance de navigation suivante.
- Le modèle est rapide. Lorsque vous naviguez vers la
berge ou dans le voisinage d'obstacles, comme des
bouées, par exemple, réduire systématiquement la
vitesse à temps. Ne pas naviguer dans le voisinage de
baigneurs ou des bateaux.
