Any damage caused by non-compliance with the operating
instructions rule out your warranty claim! We shall not be held lia-
ble for consequential damage resulting from such non-complian-
ce.
We shall not be held liable for material or personal damage resul-
ting from improper handling or non-compliance with the safety
provisions. In such cases, any warranty claims are ruled out.
• The device has been designed according to safety class II. To maintain this condi-
tion and to ensure safe operation, it is essential for the user to comply with the
safety provisions and warning instructions contained in these Operating Instruc-
tions. For safety reasons and with regard to the homologation (CE), unauthorized
modifications and/or changes of the unit are prohibited!
• Only a 230 V/50 Hz (10/16A) socket outlet of the public electricity supply network
may be used as a voltage source.
• When used in industrial plants, the Provisions for the Prevention of Accidents of
the Association of Industrial Employers' Liability Insurance Associations for Elec-
trical Installations and Equipment must be complied with.
• Moreover, make sure that the insulation (of the housing or the power cable) is neit-
her damaged nor destroyed.
• Never spill liquids on the device! This would involve an extreme fire hazard or a
risk of fatality due to electric shocks. Should spillage have occurred nevertheless,
remove the mains plug from the socket and consult a specialist immediately.
• Make sure that no objects are inserted in the device.
• Under unfavourable light conditions, e.g. sun light, display visibility may be impai-
red considerably.
• Moreover, make sure that the insulation (of the housing or the power cable) is
neither damaged nor destroyed.
