Arrêt de l'alarme
• Si vous appuyez sur la touche
"SNOOZE" (7), l'alarme s'interrompt
pendant sept minutes puis se déclen-
che à nouveau.
• Vous pouvez arrêter définitivement
l'alarme en appuyant sur la touche
"CLOCK" (6).
Réglage de la fonction "sleep"
(arrêt programmable de la radio)
• Placez le bouton de sélection du
mode de fonctionnement (14) sur la
position "AUTO" ou sur la position
"BUZZER".
• Actionnez la touche "SLEEP" (4) et
maintenez-la appuyée.
• Vous pouvez alors régler le temps d'é-
coute à l'aide des touches "FAST" (8)
et "SLOW" (9).
• Lorsque vous avez réglé le temps d'é-
coute de votre choix à l'aide des deux
touches de réglage, vous pouvez
relâcher la touche "SLEEP" (4) (le
temps d'écoute a été mémorisé).
Réglage de la luminosité de l'affichage
Vous pouvez régler la luminosité de l'affichage (2) selon deux niveaux à l'aide du
bouton de sélection situé sur la face inférieure de l'appareil.

Cette fonction permet d'éviter de se ren-
dormir une fois que l'alarme s'est
arrêtée. L'alarme se déclenche à nou-
veau toutes les sept minutes.
Si vous arrêter l'alarme à l'aide de la tou-
che "CLOCK" (6), elle ne se déclenche à
nouveau que le jour suivant.
La fonction "sleep" vous permet de pro-
grammer de 1 à 59 minutes d'écoute de
la radio pour vous endormir en musique.
Lorsque le temps d'écoute programmé
s'est écoulé, la radio s'éteint automa-
tiquement.
Inserting the storage battery
• Open the battery compartment on the back of the
clock radio.
• Insert a 9V block battery while ensuring correct
polarity.
• Close the battery compartment again using the
cover of the compartment.
Attention!
Polarity reversal of the battery will destroy the
device!
The final user is obliged by law (regulation regarding used batte-
ries) to return all used batteries and accumulators (button cells);
disposal via household refuse collection is prohibited.
You may return your used batteries and accumulators free of
charge to our branch offices and to our Hirschau headquarters, or
take them to municipal disposal centres (recycling plants) which
are obliged to accept them.
Contribute to environmental protection!
Attention!
Never operate the clock radio AV-316 while it is opened.
Do not leave discharged batteries in the device, as even leakage-
proof batteries might corrode; thus chemicals might be released
which are harmful to health or might damage the battery compart-
ment.
Exhausted batteries must not be discarded with normal house-
hold refuse. They must be considered as toxic waste and thus
have to be disposed of in an environmentally responsible fashion.
Batteries must be kept away from children.
Do not throw batteries into the fire. There is an explosion hazard.
